Supertech Hospital organized a day-long workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) to strengthen awareness and practical skills in emergency response and life-saving techniques. The workshop was designed to equip healthcare professionals and participants with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills required to respond effectively to life-threatening medical emergencies. Throughout the session, experienced medical professionals provided practical demonstrations and guidance on key aspects of Basic Life Support, including recognizing cardiac arrest, activating emergency medical assistance, performing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when available. Participants also received practical instruction on appropriate responses to choking, breathing emergencies, and other critical situations where immediate intervention can significantly improve outcomes. The interactive nature of the workshop allowed participants to strengthen their confidence in responding to emergencies through demonstrations, practical exercises, and supervised hands-on training. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of early recognition, timely intervention, effective communication, and coordinated teamwork during medical emergencies. The workshop also highlighted how immediate and appropriate first response can help maintain vital functions until advanced medical care becomes available. By organizing this training program, Supertech Hospital aims to promote a culture of preparedness and safety among healthcare professionals and the wider community. The initiative reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to professional development, emergency preparedness, patient safety, and the delivery of quality healthcare services. Supertech Hospital remains dedicated to organizing educational and training initiatives that enhance clinical knowledge, improve emergency response capabilities, and contribute to safer and healthier communities.
